The Group Effort Initiative, established by Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively in 2020, connects people from underrepresented communities with entertainment-industry training, internships, production jobs, and mentorships. Its public materials list participating companies, programs and placements.
The recovered article examined the reach of GEI's partner network and asked how professional relationships intersect across studios, agencies, production houses and other companies.
The older article also contained hypotheses about industry influence. Those interpretations are distinct from the reported existence of placements or partnerships. The public sources below are the starting point for independently following the company relationships.
